How do I know what's really in the ordinance — not just the City's summary?

This is a fair thing to ask, and it’s exactly why we built this page. It’s reasonable to want to see the actual rules, not just a description of them.
So we’ve published the entire draft ordinance — nothing held back.
What the City has done:
- Posted the full draft ordinance on this site, with the official text of every section shown next to a plain-language explanation of what it means.
- Made the complete draft available as a downloadable PDF.
- Labeled it clearly as a discussion draft that is still subject to legal review, Planning & Zoning consideration, Governing Body discussion, and public input.
If you read something in the ordinance you think is unclear or could be improved, tell us — public input is part of the process, and the draft can still change.
